Routine Made Easy With Easy Daysies!
 Elaine Tan Comeau, a Vancouver mom of 3 and an elementary school teacher, invented this wonderful product called Easy Daysies. Easy Daysies are durable, easy to use schedule magnets for kids aged 3-12 designed to make your child’s day a much easier one!
There are 8 different kits that you can mix & match to create perfect routines for your home or classroom. We received our Every Day Kit (CDN$17.99) and the Chores & Rewards Kit (CDN$12.99). My daughter, Alexis, likes routine. Every night before bed we go over what will happen the next day. We call it “okay dokey where are we going?” She loves finding out what will happen on the following day so this sounded perfect for us!
We placed all the magnetics on the fridge in order of what should happen on the following day together. From chores to activities, there are even custom magnets so you can make up your own chores or activities.
The next morning, Alexis came into the kitchen and looked at the magnets and said "Just a second mom!" and she ran to her room. A few minutes later she came back and said. " Okay mom, I made my bed!" I looked at her in disbelief, and walked to her room. WOW!! She had made her bed, I have never asked her to make her bed and she had never had done it without me before, I was so impressed. My daughter is 4 and I didn’t even every think to ask her to make her own bed, boy did I under estimate her.
Every morning I am rushing around to get things ready for my 2 month old son and for Alexis ready. I occasionally forget to remind my daughter to brush her teeth, I know, bad mom, but I try! Now she looks at the list on the fridge and sees after breakfast magnet that it says brush teeth, so now she reminds herself! It’s like a mini mom on the fridge dictating her what to do without the lecturing. It is helping her to decide what to do on her own! She loves it because she is in control of the situation.
I can’t wait until school starts and she starts kindergarten. I am excited to get the “after school” package to help her transition into kindergarten!
